After enjoying a treat, Jennifer Karey wiped the crumbs from her dog Sunny’s face during the Barks and Rec program at Peters Park in the South End on Saturday, Oct. 7. Scores of dogs and their owners participated in the event, which raised funds for three animal-rescue shelters.
