One Dalton Weeks Away from Topping off at 61 Floors

Developers for the One Dalton project reported this week that they have reached the 60th floor of the building and are only weeks away from topping off the building at the 61st floor – transforming Boston’s skyline and adding a compatriot to the Prudential Tower only blocks away.

The Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences One Dalton Street announced that construction has reached the 60th floor and is proceeding at a clip of about one and a half floors per week. A topping off ceremony is expected in July.

Upon completion, One Dalton will be the tallest residential building in all of New England – transforming Boston’s skyline at 742 feet tall.

One Dalton, which will house 215 Four Seasons hotel rooms and 160 luxury condominium residences, is scheduled to have the new five-star Four Seasons hotel open for business in March 2019.

The developer for the project is Carpenter & Company, with the architects being Henry Cobb of Pei Cobb Freed, LLP, and Cambridge Seven Associates, Inc.

Michael Van Valkenburgh is the landscape architect, and the interior design is being done by Thierry Despont.

Suffolk Construction is the general contractor on the project.
