Fourth grade teacher Luis Diaz (back) happily welcomed his new students back for a fall term of school at the Hurley K-8 School in the South End on Thursday, Sept. 7. Students from across the Boston Public Schools, as well as many students in private schools, returned for a fresh year of schooling this past week.
