Sweater Soiree

The first-ever Sexy Sweater Soiree by Washington Gateway Main Street brought out a large crowd of people last Wednesday, Dec. 20 – some sweatered up and others donning casual holiday attire. Here, WGMS Director Andrew Malloy, Garrick Durst and Kristin Phelan show off their trendy holiday threads. The fundraiser gathered more than $15,000 for the organization, which partners with Project Place for a Clean Streets program in the business district. The funding guarantees at least eight months of the program. The evening also saw the unveiling of the new prepared foods concept AVAIL by South End-based Chef Allen Campbell.
