The SoWa Open Market kicks off its 15th season on May 6, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. every Sunday, May-October.
The market will feature 100-plus local makers, 50-plus farms and specialty food vendors, 10 of Boston’s favorite food trucks, the SoWa Vintage Market, and the new SoWa Beer Barn. Throughout the season, visitors can look forward to a variety of activities such as DIY workshops led by SoWa vendors, food demos, live entertainment, games, and fitness classes.
“The 2018 season hosts an incredibly talented mix of neighborhood favorites and vendors new to the market scene,” says Aida Villarreal-Licona, Director of Community Arts & Events. “The market is a space for the neighborhood to connect with small businesses, taste new food, discover a local band, and engage with art. We have an exciting lineup of workshops in collaboration with SoWa vendors, including painters, jewelers, weavers, florists, and even urban beekeepers. Visitors can view our calendar for special events throughout the season.”
