South End Student Graduates from Boston College High

On Sunday, May 19, 2019 at Boston College High School’s 155th Commencement, President Grace Cotter Regan and the Board of Trustees presented diplomas to 253 members of the class of 2019. Mr. Stephen Hughes, a 1973 graduate of BC High and Principal of the school, gave the address.

Among the graduates was: Naod Tewolde Zacharias, who graduated with Academic Honors and as a member of the National Honor Society. He plans on Boston College in the fall.

Boston College High School is a Jesuit, Catholic, college-preparatory school for young men in grades 7 to 12. Founded in 1863, the school enrolls approximately 1,500 students from more than 140 communities in eastern Massachusetts. For more
