Second Annual Winter Walk for Ending Homelessness

The second annual Winter Walk took place on Sunday, Feb. 11, and wound through the Public Garden (shown here), Copley Square, the Boston Common and the Back Bay on a two-mile trek to raise awareness and funding for homelessness. The effort began last year with relatively short time to plan, but drew more than 500. This year, with more lead time, the event showcased stories of former homeless individuals finding stability, raised funds for several local human service providers and drew more than 1,000 participants.
