Office Building on Public Garden Sells to Mystery Buyer at Record Price

By Seth Daniel

Fisher College has sold a building fronting the Public Gardens on Arlington Street for what is being dubbed a new Boston record for price per square footage.

As first reported by Bldup.com, the sale was handled by Paul McCoy Family Services – a tax and services agency on St. James Avenue that represents high net worth families and individuals.

Jacqueline McCoy of Paul McCoy handled the sale and did not return a phone call seeking comment on the property. The 10-11 Arlington St. property sold for $22.5 million, which amounts to $1,061 per square foot. That is deemed a new record, replacing sale in the Seaport from 2016.

Fisher acquired the seven-story, former single-family mansion in 2013 for half of the price paid by the new owner. The purchase was financed by a national banking institution.
