New Little Free Library opens at First Church

The First Church in Boston invites neighbors and friends to enjoy its new Little Free Library at 66 Marlborough St.  The Little Free Library is situated in front of the church in an easily accessible spot within a tree bed along the Marlborough Street sidewalk.

The library is stocked with 10 to 12 books, donated by First Church congregants, neighbors and friends.

“We are grateful to a member for suggesting this great idea,” said Rev. Dr. Stephanie May, minister at First Church. “It’s one more way that we can be part of our community. All are invited to take a book or leave a book.”

Most of the books are gently used, with a wide range of titles for adults and children. Neighbors are encouraged to donate books that they have enjoyed.

“We are excited to offer this to our neighborhood,” said Rev. May. “We hope we see a lot of books coming and going.”
