Chris Ives, of Watertown, exits the Charles River last Saturday morning,June 3, after the 9th Annual Charles River Swim. The annual race celebrates the fact that the once hopelessly polluted River can now host swimmers. Ives said he feels great about the river and that it’s clean enough to swim in nowadays.
