Leah Abel with the Boston Circus Guild takes a break from some high-flying aerial acrobatics on the Boston Common during the fifth annual Mayor’s Pumpkin Float on a seasonable night last Friday, Oct. 18. Hundreds turned out to place their carved pumpkin on the water and send the lit up jack-o-lantern floating off on the Frog Pond.
